What EPOS sells, and how the money works

Your review of the product list, the pricing packages and the three brochures Ishwarya sent, in five parts. About a five-minute read.

1How the money works

Ishwarya's emphasis: know the price before the grant, the price after it, and who pays when. Example: Retail All In 1.

$5,014
Merchant pays it all upfront

Package $4,600 plus 9% GST. Finance verifies the payment before anything is delivered.

→
−$2,300
Then claims the EDGE grant back

Up to 50%, capped per category. EDGE replaced PSG on 30 Sep 2026. It's a reimbursement, not a discount on the quote, so cash flow is the objection to expect.

→
$39/mo
Per terminal, from year 2

Hosting, maintenance and support. $59 on the Advanced F&B tiers. This is the recurring revenue.

Hardware is extra. Each package allows 1 to 5 PWP (purchase-with-purchase) items at a deep discount, for example a receipt printer for $35 against $390 list. Beyond that allowance it's 50% off. Setup and training are billed at $800 a day.

2The package ladder

Each step up adds modules. The bar is the full price; the EDGE grant (as listed 5 Oct 2026) takes up to half of it.

No package on the price list

Everyone gets: CRM and loyalty, analytics, PayNow, NETS and EPOSPay, a sales module (quotes, invoices, delivery orders), EPOS Security, mall reporting, ERP integration. Not ours: Soundbox and payment terminals belong to the MA team.

4Things that don't line up

Know these before someone asks.

  • F&B packages don't match the brochure plans.Four packages against two plans, and the entry package includes inventory where the brochure's doesn't.
  • Services has a brochure but no price. Its plan page is also copied from Retail.
  • The headline numbers are out of date. The brochures and deck say 6,000+ customers. Ishwarya says about 7,000, with close to 3,000 reviews.
  • PSG ended 29 Sep; EDGE replaced it.Prices are unchanged on the public listing (5 Oct), but EDGE caps grants per category: Advanced F&B $5,000, Marketing AI $2,500, omnichannel $7,500.
  • 3 of 11 quote templates are missing.103981, 104071, and 103983 (probably replaced by 104400).

5Ask Ishwarya

At 2:00 PM or later.

  1. How is a Services deal priced? And recorded in HubSpot? EPOS has no salon listing.
  2. Which brochure plan is which package?Especially for F&B.
  3. Is 104400 the live Advanced F&B template?And where are 103981 and 104071?
  4. What is EPOSPay?It appears only on the feature sheet.
Grants: SMEs Go Digital EDGE listing, 5 Oct 2026. Sources: PSG price list (May 2024), the Wave quote templates (Dec 2024), Product Copy feature sheet, June 2025 brochures, onboarding transcript. Detail in docs/notes/product-review.md. "Brochure plan" chips are our inference.
